I hold you closely and know that your being able to cry is a very healthy and normal response. Men, on the other hand, haven't a clue. Glad you are there and hope you can grab a bit of rest and update us when you get a chance. Bless her heart, I do know ...Oh, I am so, so sorry. Bless her heart, I do know how she feels, having had two subdural hemaetomas that required surgery myself--twelve years apart. One required three shunts in the back of my skull. The second one left me in a coma for about three weeks. When she recovers (and I have a good feeling that she will) she may mix up words a lot. (I still do). I also no longer have the least sense of dierection. She seems like a strong determined lady, and I will keep her close in my heart and prayers.

I think you already have my number, but it is 859-291-3931 if you need to talk to someone day or any time at night. There is almost always someone awake who will get me up. I'm impressed with your ability to stay outwardly calm while rallying the troops. Funny how everyone reacts differently...I'm more like you, I can handle things "in the moment", but then cry afterwards. I guess that's better than crying during, and it's such a healthy release in my opinion. Sending you good thoughts.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
